Richard Cory was found dead in his apartment
At about 10:30 PM last night, the head chief of the N.Y.P.D received a phone call from one of Richard Cory's neighbors. She
claimed that she heard a gun shot coming out of Richard Cory's apartment at about 10 PM. The police arrived at the apartment
and began investigating. They detected that Richard Cory had Apparently shot himself in the head with his own 9mm gun. They
also found a suicide letter next to Richard Cory's body, which he wrote about an hour before he shot himself:
Suicide Note
!Good bye cruel world
!You did not grant me any peace
!Nothing to hope for, none to love
,For I know the satisfaction in loving
.but greater is the pleasure in being loved
I acquired the best of what the world had to offer
but it did nothing for my lonely soul,
I had the best of education
But it stood helpless to illuminate my darkest nights.
,I was that man in the iron mask
but you never cared to know the real Richard
a man with real feelings, a man with a real heart
,Covered beneath all that money
,beneath my imperial, noble looks
there was an unstable soul
looking for a sensitive care.
!Well, I suppose this is the easy way out
.I could find that sleep that I always dreamed about, Never to waken here again

This suicide came as a thunder on a bright day to all of Richard Cory's acquaintances. Richard Cory was not only one of the
richest man in the country, he was also a gentleman and a very educated man.
No one had never thought that he would end his life like that.
After reading his suicide note we did a small investigation and found out that he had no family and no friends. It seemed quite odd
to find out that none of his acquaintances had never tried to become friends with him, so we asked some of his neighbors to
answer this question.
All of them claimed that they didn't think they were "good" enough to become his friends, after all, they were not from the same
social circle.
One of his neighbors said that she never saw anyone coming to visit him but she thought that that kind of behavior probably fitted
him. It was a cruel world for Richard Cory and none of us had tried to make it better for him…
