Wednesday October 3rd
Today I was driving through Oxford St. I was invited by the Oxford Book Club to a talk on
English poetry. After the talk I went to a bar in Walton Street. I was drinking my favorite drink
when suddenly I was told that Anne Scott was murdered at her house. I started to investigate
the people who were present there. I collected all the clues that I found in her apartment. At
first I thought that it was a suicide but after investigating I realized it was a murder, all I had
to do now is to find the murderer.
Monday October 15th
I found new things about the case; Anne used to give private lessons in German to Edward
Murdoch, the son of my old friend, Mrs. Murdoch. I interviewed Edward.
He seemed to me very uncomfortable. He is the main suspect I will watch his next moves.
Wednesday October 17th
There had been a second death in Jericho. George Jackson was killed. Someone phoned the
police and told them that Jackson was dead. I started a new investigation. I am almost sure that
this new case has a connection to Anne Scott's case. I called Charles Richards and announced
him the terrible message.
Sunday October 21th
There are some hidden clues which made this case unsolved, therefore I must fine more clues
and investigate more people. After a deep investigation I discovered that Michael Murdoch was
the son of Anne, he was a modern Oedipus, he had made her pregnant. I think that I am close to
solving this case.
Tuesday October 23th
Today I found out that Edward tried to blackmail Charles Richard saying that he knows
everything about the death of Anne and he is threatening to tell the police if Charles does not
give him 1000£. Now I am sure that I have solved this case; Conrad Richards's real name is
Charles Richards. He is the one who killed Anne and George he also killed his brother Conrad and
posed as Conrad.
